Overture/Yahoo! Aiding Click Spam

Plenty of advertisers may be getting charged for clicks that never occurred on un-targeted ads from software they didn't realize they were advertising on -- all because they thought they bought some targeted search advertising.

I'd think though that the high number of clicks/impression would make these things very easy to flag as fraudulent. Right now I'm getting .5% CTR, I'd think that anything greater than 2% would trigger a fraud alert.

I've been recommending to my clients to stick with only GoogleAdwords for now. The cost/conversion on the Yahoo!/Overture side is just too costly, to build real sales from.
